The mountains of Montana are still pretty
wild, and the weather can be wild too. The state motto
is "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute." It's
always a good idea to dress in layers no matter what
time of year you visit. Although during most summers
it doesn't rain very often or for very long, bring
rain gear and an extra pair of shoes. Sweaters and
windbreakers are also a good idea-it can be in the
70's or 80's at the ranch, but ten or twenty degrees
cooler on a mountain trail ride. Sunscreen is a good
idea, especially at our altitude. |
