Winter in Gallatin Valley, near Big Sky Montana is quiet, beautiful, peaceful, but also a lot of fun! The historic 320 Guest Ranch, not far from Yellowstone, offers
a whole bunch of winter activity options, such as starlit
sleigh rides to our Mountain Man Campsite,
snowshoeing (we have rentals on hand), downhill and x-country
skiing, (take advantage of our ski and stay packages), snowcoach tours in Yellowstone Park, and
snowmobile excursions to places like Carrot Basin
and Buck Ridge. You can even simply relax in front
of the rock fireplace and enjoy a good meal in the
320 Steakhouse.
And again, our philosophy is that you should be able
to do what you want, when you want, so most activities
can be tailored to fit your idea of the perfect vacation.
We're just here to make sure that you have a good time!

Our Rocky Mountain climate can be hard
to pin down sometimes, so you should plan to wear layers.
Mornings are sometimes quite cold, with afternoons
that can be extremely mild-sun and 32 degrees here
is surprisingly warm, especially if you're skiing or
doing something active. Bring an extra pair of shoes
so that you have a dry pair to put on after playing
in the snow. And of course don't forget to throw in
a bathing suit for the hot tub.
