state as a quality vacation, conference and film destination.
Montana Travel maintains 10 separate tourism and travel
websites with over 2.5 million visitors a year. Tourism
and film production are active players in the state's
economy.
Since 1991, Montana 's nonresident visitation
has increased by 27%, equaling $1.75 billion from outside
the state. Of the 9.55 million out-of-state visitors
in 2001.
