About Big Sky
Big Sky is a small resort community about 1 hour south of Bozeman, Montana and 1 hour north of the West enterance to Yellowstone National Park. It’s best known for Big Sky Ski Resort, which boasts the Biggest Skiing in America™, but as the folks with Travel Montana would say, the area is remarkably rich with outdoor recreational opportunities. In the summer Big Sky offers hiking, biking, trail rides, whitewater rafting, zip lines, fly fishing and wildlife viewing. Also a free summer concert series that begins the first week in July in the Big Sky Town Center. In the winter at Big Sky enjoy alpine skiing, nordic skiing, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, fly fishing, sleigh rides and tubing. Let our front desk coordinate activites for your visit to the Big Sky area.
Big Sky offers a variety of restaurants serving up to everything from ethnic cuisine and creative five-course meals to old-fashioned steaks, burgers and fries. Home to five Wine Spectator Award-winning restaurants, fine dining rubs elbows with family-friendly fare.
The 320 Guest Ranch is located just 12 miles South of Big Sky on Highway 191.
